"Financial crisis - scenarios for companies and owners"

Another meeting of the Executive Club took place on the 2nd December 2008. Traditionally it has been held in abode of Polish Business Roundtable where guests and participators had an opportunity to take part in discussion leaded by specialists in given area. Members of the Executive Club are managers and owners of polish and foreign recognizable companies. Next editions of the meetings give an opportunity to the representatives of top management society to exchange knowledge, experiences and business relations building.
Leading subject of the meeting has regard the topical issues: "Financial crisis - scenarios for companies and owners". Another time Cigno Executive Search and Holon Consultants - hosts of the meeting - has invited to panel discussion outstanding economists, representatives of financial institutions and managers. Debate has been leaded by well known experts with great experience in management:

Conclusions appearing in our guests statements are optimistic. The crisis in Poland will be not as violent as in the USA and Western Europe. The most susceptible to the market hesitations are international companies. It is well known that the stronger associations with global economy the company has, the weaker perspectives it has - as former chief of Warsaw Stock Exchange considered.
According to Ryszard Petru, the crisis in Poland will appear in third wave - after the USA and Western Europe, but polish government should take activities being aimed at mitigating effects of the market hesitations. The government policy should be focused on increase consumption, assurance funds for investment and enabling access to credits. The President of the DnB Nord has taken attention to the fact that polish businessmen should fit to the current situation and cooperate with banks. Before visiting mentioned institution they should analyze their investment portfolio and dispose those which are the most risky.
Ryszard Petru has claimed that companies should be prepared for the worst scenario. In the optimistic possibility polish economy will slow down; in pessimistic - it will fall dawn from high. It is highly recommended to analyze situation in our company and implement solutions which help in solving hard times.
After two hours debate guests has continued discussions regarding situation on the market in chamber interiors of the palace. Discreet music and tidbits on the tables made the evening pleasant and allowed to forget about the crisis for a while.
